TAI
Tai comes to America.
Tai finds his forever home.

Tai comes to America.

In January, 2010, a shipment of lacrosse sticks arrived in Baltimore from Taiwan. When the crew opened one of the boxes, they found a cat inside! The cat traveled for six weeks inside of this box, crammed into a narrow space. The inside of the crate was shredded. The cat had probably survived by licking condensation, and eating cardboard and perhaps an occasional bug.

The poor fellow weighed only 3 1/2 pounds, less than half of what he should have weighed. He was covered in fleas. The photo, above right, shows flea dirt on a cardboard box.

Named Tai, the little fellow came from the PetER in Towson to Cat Sense, where he and Dr. Sinclair finally met. After about three weeks in his condo, Tai was allowed to explore boarding. As you can see, he felt quite at home.
